At motion, we spend countless hours finessing the weight balance on all our boats. The perfect balance on a hull will require less effort to propel it through the water for optimum performance whether in smooth water or rough water conditions. It also creates less demand on your drive train that equals to more longevity. We truly build a true offshore cat that can handle the rigors of what Mother Nature can throw at you. All our boats are hand laid with the finest bi,tri-axle directional fiberglass. We use vinylester resin which is 80% epoxy based. It is stronger, more flexible and resists blistering more than other resins. All our hulls use a sandwich core constuction using aircraft grade baltek al-600 balsa core. Our bulkheads and longitudinal stringer system is built from the finest pvc foam core for greater strength to weight ratio. The transom is built using the highest marine grade plywood.

Motion’s lamination schedules have been perfected using our experience we have gained from building racing and pleasure boats for more than a decade.
